The thing about children's books is that we have to read them and listen to them being read. Sometimes the same book many, many times. It's good to be sure you have a few books in your home or at your library you can grab that makes both the mama and kiddos happy. Here are a few of our favorites:
If You Give a Mouse a Cookie (If You Give...)--A classic.
Mooncake (Moonbear)--I love the Moonbear series and this is one of my favorites.
Duckling Gets a Cookie (Pigeon)--If you haven't read a Mo Willems, you are missing out. Sophie's kindergarten teacher got her hooked on his books. We picked this one up at the bookfair last year.
LMNO Peas (The Peas Series)-- "Pea"ple, what's not to love?
Ten Apples Up On Top!--This is one of Sophie's picks. According to her, this is a book you can sing.
The Day the Crayons Quit--Books with creative text are always winners!

Alot of these are classics and probably are already loved by many of you. I would love suggestions for new books or to hear your opinions on any of these!

DeleteWe are always looking for new books since Harper loves them! Will be picking some of these up, and especially intrigued with the day the crayons quit book! haha looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteI would say it's the crayons book is probably at least for kids 4+. My 7 year old loves, but it's always good to have nice library of fun books for the smaller ones to grow into.
